Desktop pets for Windows 11 and 10

Purrminal is a desktop pet app for Windows. Little animals live on your taskbar, wander about while you work, and grow into a whole collection over time.

Pets that live on your taskbar

Your pets stand on top of the Windows taskbar and stay out of your way. They walk, sit, groom, stretch and fall asleep, and they react when you come back to your PC. You start with Biscuit the cat and can have your whole team out at once.

A small game while you work

Work: time at your PC and focus sessions earn coins.
Care: feed your pets, top up their water, play and give them a bubble bath. Caring earns coins too.
Grow: spend coins to unlock the next pet. Daily quests and streaks give you something to aim for.

Pets never die, and there are no loot boxes or random paid rewards.

16 pets to collect

Built for focus, too

Start a 25 or 50 minute focus session and a pet curls up for a nap beside you until it's done. Between sessions the pets remind you to stretch and take a break. If you code with Claude Code, opencode or pi, each session gets its own pet too.

Stays on your PC

Your pets, coins and progress live on your computer. There's no tracking in the app or on this website, and installing or updating never touches your save. The only thing that goes online is a licence check when you enter a Premium key.

Free to play

Purrminal is free for Windows 10 and 11, and every pet can be earned for free. Premium ($3.99 a month or $29.99 a year, with 3 days free) earns 50% more coins and adds extras like pets in your browser and your own photo pet. See pricing.
