Purrminal

A desktop pet for Claude Code

Running Claude Code in a terminal? Purrminal gives every session its own pet on your Windows taskbar, so you can keep an eye on it and answer its requests without switching windows.

It shows the work

The pet shows what the session is doing: thinking, the tool it's using, the file it's on. A glance at the taskbar is enough to know whether it's busy or waiting for you.

It asks before acting

When Claude Code wants permission, the request pops up on the pet with the full command. Choose Allow, Deny, or Always, which applies the rule Claude Code suggests, the same as "don't ask again".

It tells you when it's done

The pet cheers when a task is finished, so you can work on something else and come back at the right moment. With Premium you can reply to Claude Code straight from the pet.

One pet per session

Every terminal session gets its own pet, and the pet leaves when you close the session. If Purrminal isn't running, Claude Code works exactly as it always does. Purrminal adds its hooks alongside any you already have.

Also for opencode and pi

Sessions from opencode and pi show up as pets the same way. And you don't need an agent at all: the desktop pets, focus timer, quests and care all work on their own.

Purrminal is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic, opencode or pi.
