Questions

When does Purrminal launch?

The launch date isn't set yet. Join the waitlist and we'll email you on launch day.

Windows says “Windows protected your PC”. Is it safe?

Yes. Purrminal is new and not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen asks you to confirm the first time. Click More info, then Run anyway. The release page lists checksums if you want to verify the download.

Does Purrminal collect my data?

No. Everything stays on your PC. The only thing that ever leaves it is a licence check with Dodo Payments, which sends your licence key and PC name. This website has no tracking either. Details are in the privacy policy.

Do I need Claude Code?

No. The pets, focus timer, quests and care all work on their own. Claude Code is a bonus: each session shows up as a pet.

Is it pay-to-win?

No. Every pet can be earned for free. Premium and coin packs only make things faster. There are no loot boxes or random paid rewards, and your pets never die.

Is there a Mac version?

Not yet. Windows comes first. Email us to join the Mac waitlist.
